Deepcut Garrison
The Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut (Deepcut Barracks), near Camberley in Surrey is the headquarters of the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) of the British Army and the Defence School of Logistics (DLS).
DLS consists of the Headquarters, 25 Training Regiment (with outstations at Marchwood, West Moors and Bicester), Command Wing, All Arms Wing (with an outstation at Ashchurch) and the RAF Supply and Movements Training Wing (SMTW) based at RAF Halton (with outstations at RAF Cranwell, RAF Brize Norton and Deepcut).
Deepcut Garrison has excellent access to surrounding towns, villages and cities and is served by the M25, M3 and M23 motorways. Local amenities are ample with family attractions, leisure centres, shopping centres, cinemas, theatres, sporting venues and supermarkets all within easy access.
The station has Officers', WOs’ & Sgts' and Cpls' Messes, a recently refurbished WRVS facility for phase two soldiers, a NAAFI Spar shop, the ever popular Route 66 bar, a well equipped gym, a library, an education centre, a medical centre, a HIVE, a Church, cash points, telephones and a barber.
